Konger Clock & Weather
Privacy policy
This plain-language policy explains what the app does with information on your device and when it requests weather data.
Summary
Konger Clock & Weather has no account or sign-in. It has no ads, analytics, or tracking SDKs. Konger Classics does not operate servers for the app and does not receive personal data from it.
Approximate location
Location is optional. If you choose to use it, the app uses Android’s approximate location permission to choose the nearest city from a list built into the app. You can type a city instead.
The app does not request precise location or background location. Approximate location is checked only while you use the widget or app. It is stored only on your device.
Weather
The app requests forecasts directly from the United States National Weather Service at api.weather.gov. To get a forecast, the app sends the approximate coordinates of your chosen city or place to the National Weather Service. Weather is available in the United States.
The National Weather Service is a United States government service. Its practices are described in its Privacy Policy.
Data shared with third parties
The approximate coordinates of the place you choose are sent to the National Weather Service to get the forecast. Nothing is sent to Konger Classics. The National Weather Service may handle requests under its own privacy policy.
As with any internet request, the National Weather Service also receives your device's IP address.
Purchases
Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. The app receives only Google’s confirmation of what was bought. The app does not see payment details. Google’s privacy policy applies to payments and Google Play services; read the Google Privacy Policy.
Notifications
The optional monthly “New skin notes” notification is generated on your device. There is no push-notification server.
Settings on your device
Settings such as skins, fonts, and shortcuts are stored only on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.
Children
Konger Clock & Weather is not directed at children under 13.
